Lakeview Village Hall

Lakeview Village Hall is a new community hall located on the edge of the Great Easthall estate on the outskirts of Sittingbourne. The hall has kitchen and welfare facilities needed for any event. The hall is available to rent for any club, organisation or family event.

There is a large grass area that is connected to the hall to allow your party to spread outside.

 

The hall can be booked for hire, please use the links below for the booking policy and booking application form. The hall will be hired on an hourly basis as needed by the hirer, although at weekends there is a minimum of a five hour block booking.  

The hall is operated by the Lakeview Village Hall Trust, the trust is a registered UK charity (1172312) and is a group of volunteers who, in their own time, operate the hall on behalf of the community.  The members of the trust are residents of the Great Easthall estate and their main goal is to ensure that the hall serves the community well. The trust wants to encourage the residents to start up events such as mother and toddler groups, film clubs and coffee mornings amongst other clubs.

The hall has a very modern design look and incorporates a large glass foyer at the entrance, the kitchen facility opens to this area.  Beyond the foyer the hall is accessed through a corridor where the toilet facilities are situated, through to the main hall.  The hall is large and filled with light from the light cannons built into the roof.

The hall has attracted a lot of interest from organised clubs that will attract the Great Easthall community to use the hall. The hall will become the centre of the Great Easthall community.

The hall has been built with funds given to the community by the developers of the Great Easthall estate. The design and build of the hall is to the very latest construction technology, the hall is accessible to people of all abilities. The construction materials are renewable with local materials and are designed to be environmentally friendly.  The roof has been constructed to incorporate a grass roof and to encourage wildlife.
